My name is Braelyn, but most of the clients I work with call me “Lyn” because it’s easier to pronounce and easier to remember. I have over fourteen years of experience working as an Educational Consultant with international students of all ages - adults and children. Past and current clients describe my communication style as “easy to understand and easy to work with”. As an educator, it is important to me that my client understands each step of the immigration process and is comfortable. As a client, you benefit from this "value added" service. Because of my personal experience in pursuing a second and third language and professional training in second language acquisition, I know first hand the difficulties that arise when learning a new language or living or moving to a new country. In addition to being able to relate to my clients' experiences, I can also help design individual or group academic / immigration plans to achieve desired goals. With these past and present experiences, I have become very comfortable in communicating with people from different cultures, and anticipating and addressing their specific needs. I am flexible and have the ability to adapt to change in a professional, but fluid manner. In addition, I have developed excellent computer and organizational skills, have strong research skills, and use an extensive array of professional reference materials. I am patient, positive, organized, punctual, and have the ability to anticipate a client's needs and questions. I have a very flexible schedule and hope to have an ongoing working relationship with my clients and colleagues. I have enjoyed working with many clients from all areas of the world both online and in-person. I hope to have the pleasure of meeting and working with you soon! My interests include: Traveling, Learning About Other Cultures, Cooking, Self-Improvement, Gastronomy, Culture, Immigration, International Adoption and my puppy “Pippa”.
