I made my debut as a professional by entering into the Nursing fray as a nurse specializing in the Cardiac unit. After assimilating the requisite hands-on dexterity within intensive healthcare, I was able to transition into being a Registered Nurse (NCLEX-RN) after coming to Canada upon graduating from my alma mater; Conestoga College. Being In Canada, when I went through the Immigration process for myself; I understood that there is a huge misunderstanding and lack of guidance for the immigrants. In the search for better knowledge and with a helping attitude, I became a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (R707207), and with the gained knowledge and experience in the Canadian immigration field I now proudly assist thousands of Immigrants with their Immigration processes. It is often said that life is the best teacher. In my case, I would say that my initial days in the nursing profession shaped me. It is a profession that I continue to be actively involved in (long-term care) and which has molded me into being the ethical and responsible entrepreneur that I am today. It helped uncover the ever-widening need for an immigration firm in my vicinity. So, in a way, you could say that when I am not helping the elderly in taking their first steps of the day, I assist immigrants in taking their baby steps towards realizing their Canadian immigration dreams. Corny, I know. Sitting in a plush revolving chair within a snug office, driving a Tesla, or being able to call oneself a Director of 4 booming companies has in no way shape or form made me pompous enough to turn a blind eye towards ambitious people who strive to reach similar heights of success. I believe as an individual, you may become limited; through synergy, you become far bigger than you could ever hope for. At the moment, there are many yet-to-be-acted-upon ideas in the pipeline; all it takes to unleash them is the right moment and creative outlet. The world is filled to the brim with knowledge and opportunities. One’s “gotta catch ‘em all” through keen observation and being surrounded by like-minded friends. My personal conviction is that there is always room for improvement and the right moment would present itself as if a self-fulfilling prophecy to the adage “When the student is ready, the teacher shall appear”. To this day I remain humbled and grateful for all that has transpired and consistently look for new horizons. YOLO after all!
