Arafat Kalam is the owner/managing director of Kalam Canada Immigration Advocacy Inc. Arafat holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, a Master’s Degree in Applied Legal Studies from Simon Fraser University, and an Immigration Consultant Diploma with Honors from Ashton College. He is currently practicing as a Notary Public for the Province of British Columbia where he practices real estate law and wills and estate planning law. Combined with legal his education and work experiences, Arafat has embarked on a journey to help people visit, study, work or permanently stay in Canada. He was born in Bangladesh and he fluently speaks his native tongue, Bangla. He currently lives in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada with his wife. Besides spending time with his family, he devotes his time volunteering with the Canadian Armed Forces as a Reserve Military member. He loves the outdoors, and this drives him to great distances. On weekends, you can find him hiking mountains in the North Shore and around the Lower Mainland, British Columbia.
