Wood Consulting is an immigration consulting provider in the Niagara Region. We specialize in permanent residency pathways and every configuration of temporary residency that is needed as part of short-term and long-term immigration strategies.
In addition to being an Immigration Consultant, Mr. Wood has worked for 12 years at Brock University, a Canadian post-secondary institution, as an Adjunct Faculty, English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor, and Teaching Assistant in the Social Sciences and Humanities. In addition to being well-versed in academics and a keen researcher, he has thorough knowledge of the operations of post-secondary institutions and language testing.
Wood Consulting emerged out of years of advocacy work for working people and newcomers to Canada. Mr. Wood started in immigration after helping newcomers and new and established Canadians with everyday issues. He volunteered with the Restoring Family Links program with the Canadian Red Cross; provided language interpretation, resume building, employment advice and tutoring as a freelance to newcomers and their children; and worked as a trade union advocate on grievance and arbitration cases of workplace issues. This drive to perform advocacy work is what prompted the creation of Wood Consulting.
Mr. Wood is thoroughly bilingual in both English and Spanish and holds numerous graduate degrees. He has also been awarded with research work contracts and federal funds to perform research on his passion of public policy issues in environment and social planning in Latin America.
