I've spent 8 years supporting aspiring, current, and former international students (as well as their family members). I love strategizing transitions to PR through economic and family class applications.
Education and immigration have shaped my life and career since my early 20s. After my graduate work, I adapted to new educational contexts as I pursued international work experience in France & Macedonia. I also learned firsthand about work permits and sponsoring the spouse I met abroad. In 2013, upon returning to Canada, I became an international student advisor. In 2016, I obtained my license as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC). The depth of my expertise comes through years of supporting international students (study permits, work permits, TRVs, etc.) in addition to supporting clients with family reunification, permanent residence, citizenship, and more. My support has also been as a team member with the Group of Five private sponsorship program for refugees. My career in education has not stopped. I have spent 15+ years in student services, learning & development, program management, recruitment & admissions, and marketing/communications. Many of my immigration clients appreciate my ability to offer context to their educational decisions in Canada. Through all I do, I am a people person to the core. I care about helping people make informed decisions. I am energized by meeting new people, helping them find the people or resources they need to succeed, and celebrating their wins. My clients enjoy the highly personalized support I provide through cultural, education, and geographic transitions. I love seeing my clients thrive in Canada.
