He was the President and Member of the Student Council of the program at the Queen’s University. He also volunteers his time in helping the larger student body of future Immigration practitioners. He is a lifelong learner, and is updated with the latest in the immigration and the global trends. He has completed his MBA in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management with Honors from YEDI, Toronto, Canada. He is also an alumnus of the prestigious IIM Ahmadabad, India, where he sharpened his Management acumen (AGMP 2006-07), highly creative & self-motivated with excellent management skills. He also completed his Real Estate Licensing course from the Humber College, Canada. He has also done his Bachelors in Hotel management from Bangalore University, India. He is a Charter Member of the TiE- The Indus Entrepreneurs, and member of the TiE India Angels (TIA). He has been engaged with the TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) Chandigarh chapter at various positions, including, serving as part of the Governing council, a Board Member, and serving on various committees. He is proficient in assessing and creating business plans. As a General Secretary of the Chapter, Vikas represented the TiE Chapter in global forums, lead teams and committees of business owners and volunteers, delivered on important agendas and developed the Start-Up and entrepreneurial ecosystem. As the Chair of Sponsorship, he raised funds through sponsorship, alliances and events. He has also been in the core team and handling the operations for the various events including TiECON.
