Provincial Nominee Program Draws: March 15–22

Three more PNP draws were held this week, with 185 confirmed invitations for provincial nominees.

Under its Tech Pilot Program, BC held a draw on March 19 inviting 37 candidates in the tech industry to the province. Minimum scores were the same as the previous tech pilot draw on March 12, at 89 for the Skilled Worker categories and 97 for the International Graduate categories. 

On March 20 Nova Scotia also held a draw, however the results are still pending. The criteria for nominees included a CLB of 7 or higher in French language skills and a 5 or higher in English, as well as a post-secondary degree or certificate.

PEI held a draw on March 21 inviting a total of 150 candidates to the province, 131 of which were Labour and Express Entry invitations, and 29 of which were Business Work Permit invitations. The minimum score for business invitations was 110, the lowest it has been in the history of the draw.
