Four new PNP draws took place in mid-February, inviting a total of 1,009 newcomers to Manitoba, PEI, and BC.
Manitoba held a draw on February 15, issuing a total of 444 invitations across three separate streams,120 of which were issued under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, 34 for the International Education stream, and 290 under the Skilled Workers Overseas stream (with 22 invited directly in the Strategic Recruitment Initiative).
The Comprehensive Ranking System cutoff for these draws was 574 for the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream and 570 for the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, with the exception of those invited under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative, whose cutoff was much higher at 726.
On February 19, BC issued a draw for the Tech Pilot program, inviting a total of 28 candidates with tech skills. The cutoff scores were 94 for the International Graduate streams and 85 for the Skilled Worker streams. Lastly, two draws were held in PEI and Manitoba on February 21. PEI invited 199 candidates in total, 170 in the Labour and Express Entry category with a cutoff score of 117 and 29 from Business Work Permit Entrepreneur. Manitoba’s draw was another large one, inviting 338 candidates under the Skilled Workers Overseas stream with a CRS cutoff of 566.
