Nova Scotia Launches a New Permanent Residence Pathway for Construction Workers

The new pathway to permanent residence in Nova Scotia is now open to skilled workers.

Nova Scotia has launched a new permanent residence pathway called the Critical Construction Worker Pilot for individuals with work experience in 21 specific construction occupations. This is a good option for Canadian immigration aspirants who are looking for permanent residency options in Atlantic Canada.

The Critical Construction Worker Pilot is Nova Scotia’s advanced solution to address labor shortages in key construction occupations. To be eligible for this new pilot, candidates must have  a full-time permanent job offer from a Nova Scotia employer in one of the 21 eligible construction occupations including machine operators, electricians, mechanics, carpenters, crane operators and material handlers.
