Study in Canada scholarship recipients now eligible for PGWP
Before, the IRCC said that students receiving funding from Global Affairs Canada could not qualify for the Post-Graduation Work Permit Program.
However, Global Affairs has introduced the Study in Canada Scholarship. This scholarship is intended to attract skilled individuals from many different countries to a wide range of Canadian study programs.
Accordingly, the government changed the instructions and some Study in Canada Scholarship recipients are now eligible for the Post-Graduate Work Permit.
Please not that not all GAC funding recipeints are eligible for the PGWP.
