International English Language Testing System (IELTS) introduces a new service for test takers to retake one section of their test.
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) has introduced IELTS One Skill Retake, a new service that will enable test takers to retake one section of their test within 60 days of the original result.
IELTS was developed by some of the world’s leading language assessment experts and is run by the British Council in partnership with IDP Education and Cambridge Assessment English. It tests four vital areas needed to study, work or settle in an English-speaking country including listening, reading, writing and speaking.
IELTS One Skill Retake will provide flexibility on recruitment requirements for institutions and organizations. Rather than retaking all four sections of the test, the new service reduces stress by providing the option for test takers to re-take any one section to improve their score on one of the four skills. Anyone taking IELTS to immigrate to Canada should check Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for score requirements as well as which language test is accepted depending on the requirements set by the organization where they plan to work or study.
