The Canadian government selects skilled workers based on their ability to contribute to the country's economy. This process is managed through the Express Entry system, which oversees applications for three immigration programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class. Each program has its own specific requirements, which can be viewed in detail by selecting the program of interest or by comparing all programs. In addition to these programs, eligible candidates can also apply for the Provincial Nominee Program through Express Entry. If nominated, applicants receive extra points, increasing their chances of being invited to apply for immigration to Canada. This streamlined process aims to attract and retain skilled workers who can make meaningful contributions to the Canadian economy.
