Express Entry Draw #113

A new Express Entry draw was held on March 20, issuing 3,350 new invitations to newcomers across Canada.

The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of the lowest-ranking candidate was 452, down two points from the previous draw on March 6. The tie-breaking rule prioritized candidates who had submitted profiles before February 7, 2019.

There was a total of 101,419 candidates in the Express Entry pool as of March 14, with most candidates in CRS categories of between 401-450 points and 351-400 points.

This draw marks the sixth round of invitations for the year, bringing the total number of invitations issued in 2019 to 21,200. Express Entry invitations help fast track the path to permanent residency for newcomers who have the skills to succeed in Canada. The CRS score quantifies skills such as education, language proficiency, and work experience to help identify the strongest candidates.
