Express Entry Draw #111

The February 20 Express Entry draw issued invitations to another 3,350 newcomers, with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 457.

This draw had the highest CRS score of the year, with the previous January draws having CRS scores below 450. However, the tie-breaking rule was set at a much later date than before, inviting candidates who had submitted applications before December 6, 2018.

CRS scores are based on a candidate’s profile information and are ranked out of 1,200. Points are awarded for skills and educational background, which determine potential for financial success.

This marks the fourth draw of the year, with others taking place on January 9, 23, and 30. Draws take place approximately once every two weeks, although the time between draws has been slightly longer in some cases. Candidates from the PNP programs, Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker, and Federal Skilled trades programs were eligible for the draw this round.
