Permanent Resident Application Fee Increases as of April 30, 2024.

The accompanying spouse or common-law partner will also see an increase from $850 to $950, and the accompanying dependent child's fee will increase from $230 to $260. For the Live-in Caregiver Program and caregivers pilots, the new fee for the principal applicant will be $635, up from $570. The accompanying spouse or common-law partner will also see an increase from $570 to $635, and the accompanying dependent child's fee will increase from $155 to $175.

In the Business (federal and Quebec) category, the new fee for the principal applicant will be $1,810, up from $1,625. The accompanying spouse or common-law partner will see an increase from $850 to $950, and the accompanying dependent child's fee will increase from $230 to $260. For Family reunification, the sponsorship fee will increase from $75 to $85, the sponsored principal applicant's fee will increase from $490 to $545, and the accompanying spouse or common-law partner's fee will increase from $570 to $635.

The accompanying dependent child's fee will increase from $155 to $175. For Protected persons, Humanitarian and compassionate or public policy, and Permit Holders, the fees for the principal applicant, accompanying spouse or common-law partner, and accompanying dependent child will also see increases.
