Nova Scotia stopped accepting applications in the Accommodation and Food Services sector

As of April 17, 2024, the Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee Program (NSPNP) has temporarily suspended the acceptance of new applications in the Accommodation and Food Services sector.

The NSPNP provides opportunities for workers in this industry to move to the province through various streams like the Skilled Worker, Nova Scotia Experience: Express Entry, and Occupations in Demand.

However, due to a significant surge in applications in this sector, the NSPNP has decided to pause applications temporarily.

This is meant to help the program handle the existing applications pile and ensure every application gets the proper attention. This move aims to keep the process efficient and reliable.
