Canada conducted its second express entry draw this year with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score 490.

On January 18, 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 5,500 invitations to candidates through Express Entry. This time CRS score dropped by 17 points to 490.

Last draw was held on January 11, with minimum CRS score 507. Up till now Canada has issued 11,000 Invitations to apply in 2023.

Express Entry is Canada’s main method for bringing international skilled workers to the country through permanent residence. In the Express Entry pool, CRS is a points-based system that scores a candidate's profile to rank the applicants. Only if the candidate is able to score above the CRS cut, then he/she might get an invitation to apply .
