Cap to Applications for Home Child Care Provider Pilot and Home Support Worker Pilot Coming in 2023

The Home Child Care Provider Pilot and Home Support Worker Pilot are accepting applications for their 2023 intake.

With the new cap of 1,650 applications for the Gaining experience category and 1,100 for the direct-to-permanent residence category.

The Home Child Care Provider Pilot is a Canadian Government program that allows eligible applicants to live and work in Canada as a home childcare provider for a Canadian family. The program is open to applicants from select countries and is currently accepting applications for the 2023 intake.

Eligible applicants for both programs must have at least one year of post-secondary education or have completed a post-secondary educational program of at least eight months. Applicants must also have at least six months of experience working with children or have completed a childcare-related educational program of at least six months.
