Canada invites 699 PNP candidates in its latest Express Entry Draw

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted the fifth Express Entry Draw of this year aimed at Provincial Nominee Program.

Canada held its latest Express Entry draw on February 15, 2023 to 699 Provincial Nominee Program candidates. This time draw included a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 791, which is 58 points higher than the previous PNP draw.  The draw saw the tie-breaking rule applied on February 08, 2023, at 18:09:01 UTC. If more than one candidate had the lowest CRS score, only those who have submitted their Express Entry profiles before this date and time received invitations.

Last draw was held on February 2 this year and was only applicable to candidates of the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) with the CRS score of 489. Up till now Canada has issued 16,512 invitations to apply in 2023. Last year, 45,115 candidates were invited through Express Entry Draw.

Canada has a target of inviting 465,000 immigrants for 2023.
