Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted its sixth Express Entry Draw of this year.

The draw took place on March 1st, 2023, targeting Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates. The invitations to apply (ITAs) were sent to 667 provincial nominees with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 748. The score is 43 points lower than the previous PNP draw.

This is Canada’s fourth program-specific draw in  2023. Three of these draws were for the PNP, while one was for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP).

Up until now, Canada has issued 17,260 ITAs this year. The previous draw was held on February 15, 2023 to 699 Provincial Nominee Program candidates with a minimum CRS score of 791. Canada has an immigration target of 465,000 for 2023.
