Lisa De Leon’s Bio “One of the deep secrets of life is that all that is worth doing is what we do for others.” – Lewis Carroll, Writer and Mathematician Lisa De Leon is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) from 2011 to the present. She is the Chief Executive Officer of L3J Immigration Consulting, Inc., a registered Canadian-based company offering immigration and employment services. Lisa is also a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC) since 2011. She is currently the Prairies Chapter Chair, Governance and Nomination Committee Vice-Chair, and a member of the Board of Directors of CAPIC. Lisa is adept in all areas of immigration practice. But she is more competent, representing applications such as Study Permit under the Student Direct Stream, Work Permit under LMIA-Based and International Mobility Program, and Permanent Resident applications under the provincial nomination, economic, business, and family classes. Before becoming an RCIC, Lisa practiced as a Registered Social Worker in Canada from 2002 to 2009 as licensed by the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Social Work Degree from the University of Mindanao. Shortly after immigrating to Toronto in 2000, the Canadian Association of Social Workers (CASW) accredited her foreign credentials as equivalent to a Canadian Bachelor of Social Work Degree. In 2010, she completed her Immigration Practitioner Program at Bow Valley College, Calgary, Alberta. Lisa's joy and fulfillment in humanitarian service are when she can substantially affect change in her clients' lives by representing them at the Immigration Appeal Division and Humanitarian Migration Division of the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
