Bas is originally from the Netherlands. He graduated in International Law at the University of Leiden and has a master’s degree in Applied Communications from Royal Roads University, in Victoria, Canada. As a former diplomat and trade commissioner, he has extensive experience in supporting people on immigration, human rights, and refugee issues. He is well-versed in international business development and trade and investment promotion. Before immigrating to Canada in 2006 (he is now a Canadian citizen) he worked in Mexico, Belgium, Thailand, Angola, Afghanistan, and the Netherlands. Bas currently lives on Bowen Island, near Vancouver, Canada. He is a member in good standing of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC Member #R530447) and the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC) and can help you in English, Spanish and Dutch.
