The College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) opened on November 23, 2021.

The College’s chief purpose is to regulate immigration and citizenship consultants, which includes Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) and Regulated International Student Immigration Advisors (RISIAs).

The College will act in the best interest of the public by ensuring consultants follow a Code of Professional Conduct and by implementing anti-fraud awareness campaigns. It will also be responsible for developing continuing education for consultants.

Another significant responsibility of the College is to investigate professional misconduct and discipline licensees ensuring greater accountability and increasing public confidence.
