Why do doctors use intraoral cameras?
By: PiterFreide on Dec 22, 2025 11:12 AM EST
When I read https://villagedentalmedicine.com/the-role-of-intraoral-cameras-in-modern-dentistry/ , I realized that intraoral cameras are used not only for the convenience of the doctor, but also for the patient. Thanks to the camera, the dentist can show in detail where exactly the caries or plaque is, and the patient can see the problem on the screen. This greatly increases trust and understanding of why a particular treatment plan is recommended, as the patient sees what the doctor sees.
