What do you look for most in a real estate photographer?
By: Evans on Sep 24, 2025 05:45 AM EST
Besides the obvious—good work—what's most important to you in a real estate photographer? And how exactly do you personally define good work? What services do you value most? And what do you consider when choosing a price range? What's hard to find or what could be improved with your current photographers? What would you like, but isn't available? Do you plan to continue using someone in the coming years or do it yourself?

It's difficult to find a photographer who works equally well with both small apartments and large houses. Many specialize in one area. I'd like more flexibility in their service, such as express same-day shoots. In the future, I definitely plan to continue working with professionals because it saves time and helps me close deals faster than if I were to take the photos myself.

For me, a good real estate photographer is, first and foremost, someone who can show a space from the best angle and highlight all the property's strengths. I really appreciate the services of a Sacramento real estate photographer which include not only photos but also video tours, drone photography, 3D tours, and virtual furniture staging. They are skilled at working with various types of properties, know how to highlight the advantages of an apartment or house, and offer comprehensive solutions.
