TradingView Alert Delay Puzzle
By: tanna on May 24, 2025 06:36 AM EST
I’ve been using TradingView’s alert system to monitor key price levels during market hours. However, I’ve noticed that alerts often arrive several minutes after the price has already moved past the set threshold. This delay has caused me to miss timely entries and exits. I’ve checked my internet connection and device settings, and everything seems fine on my end. I’m curious if others have experienced similar delays with TradingView alerts. Any insights or suggestions on how to ensure more timely notifications would be appreciated.

Delayed alerts can indeed impact trading decisions. While I haven't personally encountered this issue, I found some user experiences on tradingview reviews that might offer some perspective. Some users mentioned that switching from browser-based notifications to mobile push alerts improved the timeliness of alerts. Others suggested reviewing the alert settings to ensure they are configured correctly for real-time updates. Additionally, checking for any browser extensions or settings that might interfere with notifications could be beneficial. If the problem persists, considering reaching out to TradingView's support through their official channels might provide further assistance.

Big thanks for not gatekeeping, this helped more than you know.

TradingView alert delays can happen due to server load or alert settings. Try using webhook alerts or a third-party notification app for faster updates.
