Thinking about a community token but the tech part is scary
By: mejifot on Jan 24, 2026 12:39 PM EST
Hey everyone. Honestly, I’ve been sitting on this idea for a small community project for a while, but I keep stalling. The whole smart contract and deployment side of things feels pretty tricky if you aren’t a dev. I really just want to focus on the vibe and the people, not spend weeks debugging code. Is it even worth trying to launch something if I’m not a technical person? I just want to relax and enjoy the process of building a community without the headache.

I totally feel you on that. It’s easy to get caught up in the stress of "how does this even work" instead of actually having fun with your project. Honestly, I had the same doubts a few months ago. I realized that you don't actually need to be a coding genius to get a solid start.
I decided to just let the tools handle the boring stuff so I could stay in that creative headspace. I used the create tokenhttps://20lab.app/generate/ team’s setup for a small test run on Solana, and it was surprisingly smooth. No staring at walls of code or worrying about breaking something. It really helped me just chill and focus on the atmosphere of my project instead of the backend. Just take it slow and try to enjoy the ride!
