The future of virtual reality in online
By: dannywito on Dec 26, 2024 10:09 AM EST
I’ve been reading a lot about virtual reality (VR) and how it’s starting to be implemented in online c-nos. It sounds super exciting, but I wonder how practical it really is. Like, are we actually close to seeing VR tables or slot machines where you can interact with other players in a virtual environment? I feel like the idea is cool, but will the technology be smooth enough for a proper gaming experience? Also, would it change how things like bonuses and promotions work, or would they stay the same? I’m curious about what you all think—do you see VR as the future of online game, or is it just another passing trend?

VR in online c-nos definitely seems like the next big leap in gaming. I’ve tried a few VR experiences myself—not in casinos but in general gaming—and they’re immersive but still have a long way to go in terms of accessibility and affordability. For online c-nos, the biggest draw of VR will probably be the social aspect. Imagine sitting at a virtual poker table, reading players’ body language (well, their avatars’ body language) or even playing a slot machine where the lever feels real because of VR controllers.

I think that’s going to be the biggest hurdle for VR in online c-nos. Not everyone has a VR headset, and until they become as common as smartphones, it might take time for this to go mainstream. That being said, I can see c-nos using VR as a premium feature—kind of like VIP lounges, but virtual. It could also help them stand out in a competitive market. I’d love to try it myself, though! Something like VR blackjack with realistic dealers sounds like a fun experience.https://cardmates.co.uk/
