Testing Mods During Custom Nights — Good Idea?
By: lleailea on Apr 29, 2025 10:58 AM EST
Had one of those long Friday night customs where everyone got bored of regular lineups and started suggesting mods to spice things up. Someone mentioned skin changers and a few tweaks that could make practice a little more fun. Got me wondering, when you start adding tools like that, does it just stay cosmetic, or can it cross the line into actual gameplay changes? Curious if anyone used mods in customs and noticed it actually helped them train smarter without messing around in real games.

Hello! During one of those laid-back practice nights, we started adding random tweaks just for fun, and somewhere in the mix, win in valorant with cheats popped up buried inside one of the mod setups. It wasn’t crazy aimbots or wallhacks — more like slight stability on crosshair movement or faster ability resets. Honestly, it didn’t feel like cheating in customs, but it definitely made certain drills smoother. Helped polish timing and movement way faster than just dry running basics.
