Starting My Canada Journey : Looking for Guidance and Real Experiences
By: OliverMackay on Nov 22, 2025 12:20 AM EST
Hello everyone,
I’m beginning my journey toward immigrating to Canada and thought this would be the best place to connect with people who have been through the process. I’ve been researching different pathways, but there’s a lot to take in, from understanding eligibility to figuring out which program actually fits my background and long-term plans.
I would love to hear from members who have already gone through Express Entry, PNP, study permits, or any other route. What were the biggest challenges you faced? What do you wish you had known early on? And how helpful was working with a regulated immigration consultant during your application?
Any advice, personal experiences, or tips to avoid delays would be incredibly appreciated. Excited to learn from this community and share my progress along the way.
Thanks in advance!
