Renting a cabrio in Turkey

By: Bryant on Apr 22, 2026 01:44 AM EST
Hey folks! Planning a trip to the Turkish coast this summer, thinking about renting a convertible to cruise along the Mediterranean. Always wanted to do that scenic drive with the top down. Anyone here done that before? Is it worth the extra cost compared to a regular car? Also, any tips on where to book without getting ripped off? Cheers!

Totally worth it for the coastal roads between Antalya and Kas. The views are incredible with the top down. Just keep in mind that cabrios usually have limited trunk space, so pack light. You can find options to rent a cabrio car in Turkey through this site https://turkey-rentcar.ru/en/catalog/cabrio/ . Best time is spring or early autumn, summer can be pretty hot with the roof open.

Convertibles have tiny trunks, especially with the roof mechanism. Roll your clothes instead of folding, and use soft bags, not hard suitcases. If you're traveling with more than one person, consider renting a small SUV instead.
