Onn TV remote pairing success?
By: lleailea on Jun 18, 2025 09:09 AM EST
Tried syncing a replacement Onn smart TV remote to my set, but the pairing process kept failing even though I followed all steps in the manual. I learned that using the online form didn’t lead to solutions, so I want to know—has anyone successfully paired a new remote after reaching out? I’d like to understand what actually solved the issue.

Just had trouble pairing a replacement remote myself and scanned comments posted on https://onn-electronics.pissedconsumer.com/review.html where people wrote about same signal-sync issues during remote setup. Taking one user’s suggestion, I held down the pairing buttons for five full seconds instead of the shorter press recommended in the guide, then added a note in the support request indicating how many attempts I did and the serial numbers. Within a day, Onn’s team replied with a slightly updated pairing firmware file link, and after loading that and repeating the long-press pairing step, it connected smoothly. Seems that providing precise timing details and referencing exact steps gives their support the context they need to suggest the correct fix.
