Need Boost After Viral Incident
By: greqor on Dec 01, 2025 03:33 PM EST
One of my videos accidentally went semi-viral because a celebrity reposted it. The problem is that my follower count didn’t grow at all afterward. Meanwhile people keep assuming my page is bigger than it is. Is there a way to stabilize growth so it matches the new level of attention? I feel like I missed a huge opportunity window.

What will stabilize growth is consistency: post a few strong pieces in a row, pin your best work, and maybe follow up with something that references the viral moment. Think of it like the Snake game — you only grow when you keep collecting pieces in sequence, not from one random bonus item. Keep moving, keep dropping quality, and the growth will catch up to the attention.

It’s exciting to get that sudden attention, but I understand how frustrating it can be when your follower count doesn’t reflect it. One thing that can help is checking out kumplo, which offers tools and insights for social media growth so you can see which types of content attract engagement and how to make the most of these spikes. Combining that with consistent posting and genuine interaction usually helps stabilize growth over time.
