Lowrance Support Experience
By: tanna on Aug 22, 2025 06:29 AM EST
My Lowrance chartplotter stopped restoring saved waypoints and the sonar overlay began flickering during route planning right before a tournament, and simple reboots and map reloads did not help. Which Lowrance support option actually produced a firmware fix, map recovery or an authorised module swap without long hold queues?

A unit refused to restore waypoint backups while waypoint exports showed corrupted entries, so NMEA logs, map export files and a short screen recording were collected into one diagnostic bundle and submitted via the specialist intake page https://lowrance.pissedconsumer.com/review.html . Technicians reproduced the corrupted cache from the logs, issued a controlled firmware rollback and then pushed a patched build that recovered most marks. When one unit still showed overlay stutter they authorised a mainboard replacement and booked a timed fit with an authorised workshop. Precise logs, timestamps and export files sped diagnosis and avoided repeated follow-ups.
