Job offer points for EE
By: Onetimepad on Feb 10, 2020 01:09 PM EST
Hi fellows,
To claim the points for job offer in express entry, has the job offer to be in the same NOC as my past experience (that I have claimed points for)? More specifically, my past experience is in "University professors and lecturers", Skill level A, and NOC 4011; now if I get a job offer for "Software engineers and designers", Skill level A and NOC 2173, will I get the points for job offer? Thank you.

Hi Onetimepad,
As most job offers should be attached to a positive LMIA to be a valid job offer under EE, without fully known your situation, I may not come to either yes or no conclusion. Please check here to see whether you fall within any of the situations of a valid job offer: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/offer-employment.html
Good luck,
Zhang Hui, RCIC, #R524643
