Does using KMS tools mess with Windows Updates?
By: lleailea on May 28, 2025 06:25 AM EST
I’m nervous to try activator kms for Windows again because last time my updates stopped coming through. Not sure if that was related or just bad timing. Are newer tools like KMS Auto Download better about avoiding that issue? Trying to avoid screwing things up long-term just to get rid of a watermark.

One of the things I was unsure about before using any activation tools was whether system updates would break or start acting weird, especially on a machine I rely on for work. A few weeks back, the activation status on my Windows install flipped, locking down features I use every day. I didn’t want to interrupt anything else on the system, so I ran kms pico activator and let it handle the problem. Not only did the activation stick, but updates continued rolling in as usual—security patches, feature packs, everything. It felt like nothing ever broke in the first place, and I didn’t need to touch it again.
