Chime direct deposit delay explained?
By: lleailea on Jun 18, 2025 10:10 AM EST
Set up direct deposit from my employer into Chime and confirmed payroll went through, but the money hasn’t appeared yet—even though my bank shows it’s processed. I used their support form but no reply has come through. Wondering if anyone else faced this deposit delay and eventually saw the funds? I’d love to understand which action from your side helped resolve the issue.

Strangely, the same thing happened with my paycheck recently, so I reviewed feedback in chime reviews, saw that some Chime users received faster updates when they included the deposit date, employer name, amount, and a screenshot of their bank confirmation within a single message. I copied that idea—sent one message with those four pieces of info included—and within a day, customer service replied noting they’d traced the deposit, cited processing delays, and confirmed the money would arrive later that day. Patience helped, but providing complete details at once sped things up.
