Can cinnamon be dangerous to your health?
By: lleailea on Dec 18, 2024 11:51 AM EST
I recently came across an article about how some spices, including cinnamon, may contain harmful impurities such as lead. Honestly, I didn't even think that this could be a problem. Has anyone heard of this?

I’ve also come across similar concerns recently, and it’s something worth paying attention to. The question does ceylon cinnamon contain lead made me dive deeper into the topic. It turns out there are safer options like lead free cinnamon available, which can help avoid unnecessary exposure to harmful impurities. It’s definitely a reminder to be cautious and check for safety information.

I never even thought that something like lead in cinnamon could be an issue. It’s surprising to learn that options like lead free cinnamon exist, definitely makes me want to pay more attention to what I’m buying.
