Applying for Student & Dependent(Spouse) Visa simultaneously
By: Dependent visa for spouse of Student visa on May 09, 2019 05:14 PM EST
Hii...My wife is planning for her PG diploma in Canada for Jan 2020 Intake. Is it advisable to apply both Student and Dependent visa at the same time or apply once she reaches Canada?
Also, We were married recently and a few consultancies says that there should be atleast a year gap after marriage to be eligible for dependent visa?
Please advise me on the above two queries I have.

Hi Dear,
It is advisable to confirm the spouse dependent visa permit from the University itself in the first place & your wife should go for PG Diploma Intake 2020. Then Apply for dependent Visa accordingly (preferably after 1 year of marriage, as you have mentioned that you both have married recently which means you must have completed 2-3 months, I believe).
