AINP application question
By: roudi444 on Sep 10, 2021 12:28 PM EST
I am filling my Alberta Express Entry Stream Application. I am an electrical engineer and currently reside outside of Canada. In the final part of the application, they ask me to upload my Licensing/Registration/Certification which are necessary for me to be able to work as an electrical engineer in Alberta. However, I am ineligible for a license as I don't have the required 48 months of work experience. But the License has been marked mandatory. Can anyone help me what to fill in for that information?

If you are ineligible for a license due to not meeting the required 48 months of work experience, you should provide an explanation in the application regarding your current status. Clearly state that you are aware of the licensing requirements but do not yet meet them due to insufficient work experience. You can also mention any steps you are taking to gain the necessary experience in the future.
