Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) recently invited 1,510 candidates in the general draw.
On January 10th, 2024, Canada conducted its first Express Entry draw of the year 2024. This time 1,510 candidates were invited to apply in a general draw. Candidates required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 546.
A general draw considers candidates from all Express Entry managed programs. Invitations to apply to the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) and Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) may be issued through this round of invitations.
According to the Immigration Levels Plan 2024-2026, Canada will invite 110,000 new permanent residents through Express Entry in 2024.
