American officials have announced a plan to re-open the land border to fully vaccinated Canadians next month.
Under the proposed plan, fully vaccinated Canadians will be able to travel by land to the United States without having to submit negative COVID-19 tests. Travelers might also be required to present proof of vaccination documentation.
While the full details of the reopening plan have yet to be revealed, it is expected that the Center for Disease Control (CDC) will recommend that travelers who have received any World Health Organization (WHO) approved vaccine be permitted entry, including AstraZeneca, for both air and land travel.
