Saskatchewan PNP Draw

Saskatchewan held its fifth PNP draw this year, with 121 candidates invited through the Occupations In-Demand program and 81 through the Express Entry program.

The draw had seven different categories, including medical sonographers, butchers, and psychologists. The list changes frequently so that the supply of skilled workers doesn’t exceed demand within the province; the conference and event planners category was removed from the program following the draw.

The Occupations In-Demand program accepts candidates with specific job skills desired by the province; candidates need job experience, but not an offer, to apply. Points are awarded to candidates according to their skill levels in various categories, including language, education, and family connections in the province.

The cutoff score for both the Occupations In-Demand and Express Entry categories was 67 this round, up from 60 in the previous round.
