Express Entry Invitation Results from October 12, 2022, #233

October 12, 2022 - 4,350 invitations to apply for permanent residence status were sent to applicants via the Canadian Express Entry Program.

This round did not specify a program; however, as always, applicants were skilled workers in one of the three skilled-workers categories: Federal Skilled Worker, Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Trades and Provincial Nominee Programs. The lowest score invited in this round was 500. The eligible applicant pool comprised 235,120 people at the close of this round.

Based on the comprehensive ranking scores (CRS) for the October 10 round close, 64,536 persons held a CRS score of 452 -500 and 601 top candidates scored between 601 and 1200. A comprehensive ranking system (CRS) ranks each applicant. Scores reflect indicators of immigrant success such as age, education, official language proficiency, Canadian work experience, added certificates, having a Canadian sibling, accepting a qualifying Canadian job offer, and provincial nomination. CRS scores range from 0 – 1200, with a maximum score of 1200.

In cases of tied scores, the candidate who submits their Express Entry profile first wins.
