Canada issues another 7000 invitations in all-program Express Entry draw

Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) recently invited candidates in the eighth Express Entry draw of 2023.

Canada conduced an all-program Express Entry draw on March 23rd, 2023. This time, invitations were sent to 7,000 candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 484. The CRS score is six points lower than the previous all-program draw, which took place on March 15th, where the same number of candidates were also invited

. These two draws, , are the largest all-program draws   to ever be held. The latest draw came  as a surprise, as it was the second time IRCC  invited candidates through express entry within eight days. Generally, Express Entry draws are conducted bi-weekly. Express Entry is a system through which Canada invites skilled and qualified candidates in the Express Entry pool to apply for permanent residence.

The candidates in the EE pool meet the eligibility requirements of at least one of the three programs: Federal Skilled Worker, Canadian Experience Class, and the Federal Skilled Trades.
