Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) recently invited 589 candidates through Express Entry.

On May 10, 2023 Canada held the twelfth Express Entry draw of this year. This time, IRCC issued a total of 589 invitations to apply (ITAs) with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 691. This was a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) specific draw which means that only EE candidates who are provincial nominees were selected for the draw.

The recent Express Entry draw was the first draw of May and the fifth program-specific draw of 2023. The last Express Entry PNP-specific draw was held on March 1, in which 667 candidates were invited with a minimum CRS Score of 748. This year up until now, IRCC has held four PNP-specific draws, seven all-program draws and one draw targeted at Federal Skilled Worker candidates.
