4,750 Invitations Issued in Express Entry Round #236

Canada’s Express Entry Round Results are in.

This round, Canada extended 4,750 invitations to chosen candidates from the categories of Federal Skilled Worker, Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Trades and Provincial Nominee Programs this round - 2% of the total Express entry pool in round #236 gained invitations. The total applicant pool comprised 232,215 potential candidates with a minimum low score of 491 from a maximum of 1200 points. In addition, 5,252 entries came from applicants whose scores were 0-300, and the largest number of applicants, 62,400, scored in the 451 – 500 CRS range.

The highly developed Comprehensive Ranking System analyzes potential candidates’ suitability to Canada with points awarded for age, education, official language proficiency, Canadian work experience, certificates earned, siblings in Canada, acceptance of qualifying Canadian job offers, and provincial nomination. Candidates with the highest CRS scores are most likely to achieve quality success as new Canadian citizens. Canadian education points are available to applicants who have earned partial or whole higher education certificates, diplomas, or degrees in Canada between March 2020 and August 2022 - whether from distance learning, remote learning, outside of Canada, or part-time studies.
